Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a game designer who will design and develop the creative visual and fun factor of our client’s gaming products.

Main responsibilities include:

• Use appropriate software to execute assigned projects in most efficient method.
• Design original digital artwork with guidance from Department Lead
• Be responsible for meeting deadlines based on assigned deliverables
• Create enhance art, design and graphic "look and feel" and prepare graphics assets for developers
• Support the creation of original designs for traditional and video products Video glass design and illustration if required
• Create assigned aspects of games and support presentation of design with the creation of prototype review, alpha and beta release, and final product Alpha and beta addendums tasks to be revised on schedule
• Maintain accuracy of work and attention to detail is essential
• Work and assist fellow designers
• Create and enhance art, design and graphic "look and feel" of art elements of company’s products.
• Develop and create assigned aspects of graphic and/or layout design concepts for art for company’s products.
• Support the creation of original designs for traditional and video products
• All other relevant duties as required

Applicant's Qualifications:

• Proficient in 3D Studio Max (modelling, animation, lighting and texturing)
• Proficient in Photoshop
• Proficient in Illustrator
• Proficient in special effects
• Proficient in multi-media applications
• Prior gaming experience an asset
