Job Summary:

Our client is looking for a multimedia designer and conceptual thinker who lives and breathes the web. You will be responsible for the brainstorming, design and production of new web sites and interfaces for a wide variety of projects.
Our client is looking for creative and innovative designers who thrive in a team environment.

Applicant's Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years workplace experience and/or training in website design and production.
• Comprehensive understanding of interactivity and the web and web applications.
• Keen awareness of the challenges and possibilities of web design, web specifications and usability.
• Strong communications skills.
• Solid experience/skills using these design tools: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, HTML editors like Dreamweaver.
• Solid grasp of HTML and CSS.

Other Skills:
• Some logo/identity design experience is a plus.
• Some print and prepress design & production experience is a plus.
• Experience with templating, ‘theming’ and/or creating “skins” for large dynamic websites is a big plus.
• Experience with video, motion graphics and/or Flash is a plus.
• Some knowledge of JavaScript, AJAX/XML/XSLT, and/or web scripting (PHP, PERL, Ruby, ASP.NET, etc.) is a definite plus, but not required.
