Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join its Content Management Solution team. This individual will be the key link between the Professional Services team and the customer. Responsibilities will include managing current and prospective customer relationships, product evangelism, gathering customer requirements, launching new sites, QA, documentation and training.
Main responsibilities include:
Build and maintain strong customer relations through regular visits to current and prospective customers
Be the liaison between the customer and the Professional Services team and operations
Interact regularly with customers to gain feedback about requirements and issues and to present and promote new product features and services
Gather user requirements for new site launches and CMS product development
Work with Professional Services team to translate user requirements into solution requirements
Validate requirements and implementation timeline for customers
Participate in the QA process to ensure new site / product correctness
Work with operations to establish installation and customer support needs for the product
Participate in development of marketing materials (user guide, fact sheets, white papers, demos, case studies)
Establish training requirements, write training material and train customers
Set up and run quarterly user groups
Create and manage customer reference program
Maintain a high level of relevant product knowledge by performing research of competitive landscape, market dynamics, competitive products and technologies
Serve as the advocate of the client experience
Applicant's Qualifications:
A University Degree or College Diploma in a relevant field.
3+ years as account manager or project manager at a software company
CMS experience is a plus
Web experience is a plus
Excellent customer management skills
Experience working with cross-discipline teams to deliver technology-related projects
Experience writing user requirement documentation, white papers, marketing collateral
Experience writing training materials and conducting training courses
Positively influences others by remaining energized, enthusiastic and confident especially in the face of difficult or stressful situations
Influences others’ perceptions, using consensus building, consultation and negotiation
Strong analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects and changing priorities
