Job Summary:

Our client is currently looking to expand our operations by hiring a dynamic, self-motivating, Senior Operations Manager to oversee, maintain and continually improve the business processes related to contract life-cycle and financial activities of the company.

Main responsibilities include:

Your primary task with our client will be to undertake the management of the key areas of Project Management, Operations Management, and Client Relations for a web-based Application Services Provider organization. You will also provide the management for the following departments: Web Software Development, Systems Administration, Data Analysis, Design, and Consumer/Customer Support.

• Responsible for the allocation of costs (time, hosting, maintenance) to the Single Business Units;
• Acts as the Primary point of contact for internal and external clients, maintaining direct communication, and assisting in departmental budgeting;
• Negotiate and establish an agreed upon a Service Level Agreement (SLA) that is satisfactory to both client and production team (which includes operations and project management);
• Maintain the goal of a 7-day turn-around on tasks/projects, providing project management and leadership for new products/services/company ventures;
• Define the overall IT strategy for the organization, and continuously search for new means to increase systems reliability and systems efficiency, particularly in achieving the fastest transactions processing;

Applicant's Qualifications:

We are seeking someone who is a great organizational fit, and has the following background:
• 5+ years management in an IT/ software development team;
• 5+ years of project management experience;
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, analytical, and team building skills;
• Skilled at building Partnerships and strong Working Relations, both inside and outside the company;
• Ability to translate the impact of operational decisions on financial results and customer/employee satisfaction;
• Proven ability to multi-task/handle multiple projects/tasks;
• Experience in a Rapid Iteration Project Development organization;
• Experience dealing with Matrix style departmental management;
• University degree in the fields of Business, Commerce, or Computer Science;
• Masters of Business Administration (MBA), ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) which is a framework of best practices for running an IT department), or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification;
• Inspiring and credible leader with the ability to motivate and influence the performance of small operating teams;
