Job Title: Flash Developer

Position Status: Full Time Permanent

Main responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and unit testing of Flash based Internet applications and games, utilizing Action Script & PHP programming
• Research and recommend innovative games, applications and activities solutions
• Develop and create innovative Flash applications for sales and network promotions and other interactive properties
• Create functional specifications and technical documentation
• All other duties as assigned

Applicant's Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experience in developing internet applications and Flash based games utilizing Flash, XML, PHP and databases
• 3+ years of development experience with Macromedia Flash, including Action Script 2.0 (both legacy & OOP)
• Familiarity with Action Script 3.0 is an asset.
• Other skills should include PHP, MYSQL, XML, HTML editing, CSS, DHTML, browser compatibility issues and software such as Dreamweaver, Flash, Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator and ImageReady •
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must be a team player with the desire to own projects and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Solid verbal & written communication skills are a must
• Detail oriented with good time management skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast paced environment
